PERMITS Sibley county Public Works requires the following permits:
Excavating/Grading Permit - $125.00
Moving Permit - Free
Obstruction Permit - $125.00 Registration Permit - $10.00
**Required for all first time utility applicants.
Residential/Field Access Permit - $125.00 plus a $200.00 refundable deposit. The deposit is returned when the work has been completed and inspected by Sibley County Public Works Department. If culvert is needed, the following pay scale is followed:
Culverts 18" and smaller are $750.00
Culverts greater than 18" will be prorated higher according to their size.
Street/Commercial Access Permit - $125.00 plus a $200.00 refundable deposit. The deposit is returned when the work has been completed and inspected by Sibley County Public Works Department. If culvert is needed, the following pay scale is followed:

Utility Permit - $125.00
** First time Utility Permit application must also be accompanied with a Registration Permit.
