Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 485 the Court Administrator shall perform all duties assigned by law and by the rules of the court. The Court Administrator's Office is responsible for record keeping, case flow and jury management for District Court cases filed within the County. These cases include juvenile, civil, family, probate, criminal, traffic as well as conciliation court cases.
Sibley County District Court is one of seven courts in Minnesota's First Judicial District and serves an area of 589 square miles and a population of approximatley 15,126. Our historic courthouse is located in Gaylord, Minnesota.
