2014 June Flooding Information


PUBLIC ASSISTANCE

As of June 24th, there is federal and state funding available but this funding is only for public agencies and private non-profit organizations.  For more information on Public Assistance please see this link: http://www.fema.gov/public-assistance-local-state-tribal-and-non-profit


INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE

If you have experienced damage from this event you should first check with your insurance provider to see if you are covered.  You can also look into Small Business Administration low-interest loans for some assistance (http://www.sba.gov/about-offices-content/1/2462).  At this time Individual Assistance (http://www.fema.gov/individual-assistance-program-tools) is not available but there is a possibility that it could be in the upcoming weeks.
