Gaylord Trail Project - Phase II - Bids due June 13, 2012
The purpose of the Gaylord Trail Project – Phase II is to provide a safe, multiuse route that will ultimately connect the City of Gaylord’s trail and sidewalk system to a future regional trail system. Once this regional trail system is complete, people will be able to travel to and from the City of Gaylord to public points of interest within the area. Short term, these points of interest include the Gaylord Game Protective League Park, Lake Titloe, and the stormwater pond which the trail will encompass. Long term, these points of interest will expand as the trail is extended to along TH 5 in the future. The portion of the trail around the stormwater pond would be considered a scenic route. A majority of the trail will be located along the south side of CSAH 21 and the stormwater pond between TH 5 and CSAH 21.
