There is a fee of $8.00 for most immunizations. Families who have insurance that pays for immunizations should see their private physicians. Questions regarding costs or availability of certain vaccines should be directed to the Public Health & Human Services office.
Immunizations are available for children 2 months of age and older. A child can receive immunizations if he has a simple cold, an ear infection, or a low-grade fever. Bring an up-to-date record of past immunizations. Parents must accompany minor children or sign the consent forms prior to the clinic. Consent forms can be picked up at the Public Health & Human Services office during their business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and must accompany the child.
Proof of immunizations or a signed statement by a parent objecting to any or all vaccinations is required for school, preschool and day care entry.
Questions can be directed to the Public Health & Human Services office at (507) 237-4000.
