MAC - Mothers and Children

The Sibley County Food Shelf is the distribution site for the MAC program.

MAC is a free food program for children up to age 6 and pregnant women or women who have had a baby within the last year (either breastfeeding or non-breastfeeding).

To qualify for MAC, you must:

meet income guidelines
live in Minnesota
provide proof of age
not be receiving WIC (one family member can receive MAC and another can be on WIC, but the same person cannot receive both)

Foods provided by MAC include:

fruits, vegetable, and juice
milk and egg mix
meat, dry beans, and peanut butter
cereal and rice, instant potatoes, or pasta
infant formula or infant cereal
