MAC - Mothers and Children

The Sibley County Food Shelf is the distribution site for the MAC program.
 
MAC is a free food program for children up to age 6 and pregnant women or women who have had a baby within the last year (either breastfeeding or non-breastfeeding).
 
To qualify for MAC, you must:
  • meet income guidelines
  • live in Minnesota
  • provide proof of age
  • not be receiving WIC (one family member can receive MAC and another can be on WIC, but the same person cannot receive both)
Foods provided by MAC include:
  • fruits, vegetable, and juice
  • milk and egg mix
  • meat, dry beans, and peanut butter
  • cereal and rice, instant potatoes, or pasta
  • infant formula or infant cereal
