Family Planning

Family Planning Service is for anyone who wishes to prevent or postpone pregnancy.  These services are completely confidential.
 
This service includes:
  • Counseling and information
  • Physical exam
  • Birth control supplies
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Sexually Transmitted Disease Testing and Treatment
  • Referrals as needed
Choose the birth control method best for you:
  • Oral contraceptives ("the pill")
  • Depo-Provera ("the shot")
  • Ortho Evra ("the patch")
  • Foam and Condoms
  • Nuva Ring
  • Natural Family Planning ("rhythm")
  • Abstinence
Call Sibley County Public Health & Human Services at (507) 237-4000 and tell the nurse you want to sign up for the Family Planning Service.  Once enrolled, you can make an appointment at a participating clinic (Glencoe, Hutchinson, or Litchfield).
 
There is a minimal charge based on a sliding fee scale.
