Sibley County will be reconstructing 4 bridges during the 2012 construction season.  The location of the bridge projects are listed below and can be viewed on the Sibley County 2012 Highway Construction Plan Map.

CP 1130 Br. No. 72J65 is located on CSAH 8 in Alfsborg Township

CP 1131, Br. No. 72J67 is located on CR 57 in Alfsborg Township

CP 1132, Br. No. 72J66 is located on CSAH 8 in Alfsborg Township

CP 1133, Br. No. 72J62 is located on 330^th Street in Sibley Township

 The existing bridge structures will be replaced with double line box culvert.  The replacement of each bridge is anticipated to take about 2 weeks and will require the roadways to be closed during construction. The projects will be advertised during the months of May and June and the bid opening will be during the middle of June.  The projects are scheduled to begin in late July or August 2012 and should be completed by the end of October 2012.  Funding for the bridge replacements consists of State Bridge Bonding, County State Aid, and Local Sources.  Further information regarding the specifics of each bridge replacement can be obtained from the Sibley County Egram Web Site or by contacting the public works department.
