Permits

Sibley County Public Works requires the following permits:

Oversize/Overweight Permit - $25.00 for initial permit. Overweight loads must fill out the form below.
** Overweight Fee Calculator Form - Based on weight per axle.

Obstruction Permit - $125.00

Registration Permit - $10.00

** Required for all first time utility applicants.

Residential/Field Access Permit - $125.00 plus a $200.00 refundable deposit. The deposit is returned when the work has been completed and inspected by Sibley County Public Works Department. The fee for culverts will be determined in the following manner:

Mobilization: $330.00/site
Materials: Actual Cost + Tax + 5%

Installation of Culvert: Labor at $1.83/foot of pipe (Only for New Approach)

Installation of Culvert Extension: Labor at $25.00/side + $1.83/foot of pipe

(Only for Existing Approach)

Seed for Slopes: $10.00

Street/Commercial Access Permit - $250.00; the fee for culverts will be determined in the following manner:

Mobilization: $330.00/site
Materials: Actual Cost + Tax and 5%

Installation of Culvert: Labor at $1.83/foot (Only for New Approach)

Installation of Culvert Extension: Labor at $25.00/side + $1.83/foot of pipe

(Only for Existing Approach)

Seed for Slopes: $10.00

Utility Permit - $125.00

** First time Utility Permit application must also be accompanied with a Registration Permit.
