Direct Payment Plan
Sign up today to participate in Sibley County’s Direct Payment Plan for Real Estate Taxes.
The direct payment plan is free, dependable and convenient.
After you enroll, your checking or savings account is automatically debited the amount of your tax payment.
For Real Estate, the debit takes place on May 15 and October 15 or November 15.
For Mobile Homes, the debit takes place August 31 and November 15.
If this date falls on a weekend, your account will be debited on the next business day.
You will receive a reminder notice approximately one week prior to the debit.
When you receive the notice, verify that it includes all your parcels and your correct account numbers.
If any changes are needed, contact the Auditor-Treasurer's office immediately.
It is your responsibility to notify the Auditor-Treasurer's office
if you buy or sell any parcels or change your bank account information.
You may enroll at any time, but it is requested that you sign up at least 3 weeks prior to a payment date.

Authorization will remain in effect until you notify the Sibley County Auditor-Treasurer, in writing, you wish to withdraw;
or Sibley County requires termination and you are notified. (Failure to have sufficient funds on date of debit will result in inability to remain in program, and you will be accessed a $30.00 NSF fee.)
To have your property removed from the Direct Payment Plan, print this REMOVAL form, sign it and mail to the Sibley County Auditor-Treasurer at least 3 weeks before payment is due.
